Up there
Somewhere
Under the full golden shine
Of the city at night
Mirroring its figure
On the cold coal river
Its that sound
Of different shaped shoes
Some old, some new
Clicking into the vast space
And everyone has a tug in their hearts
We all have a story
But nobody tells me theirs
So I don't tell mine
I wanted to visit the forest
With the heated green leaves
And fussy moths like snowflakes
under warm evening lamps
dripping with light
But the thought of unknown black
In a city filled with tune and sound
Held me back
And as the strangers pass
I am the warmed one
Lighted and dripping
Like a teapot
I pour down and down
Inside myself
And the people they walk and chat
They hum and laugh and hug
And they are lovely with eachother
And it hurts
When you don't
And your lovelies
Are not around that streetcorner
anymore
Or up on that castle
Or swimming in the river
And in golden light on frozen nights
You have to search
New eyes
And hopefully
One or two smiles
And yourself
Be an evening lamp light
Wanting snowflakes
To fall on your crown
You couldn't summarize what life IS, better than THIS!
SvarSlettLife just knows how to mess you up either with love or loss.
Well love and loss can not exist without eachother (I call that a paradox!) Because when you LOVE; only then, are you afraid to loose... That's what I love about you! You miss people very deeply (just like me) and want to be with them, even if you know that they aren't perfect! that is raw love <3
