My mummified life
Of whats real and me
and whats not
The screaming of seagulls
The footsteps of all those
Seen yet unseen
Life feels surreal
I am cold yet warm
Full yet hungry
But when i see those houses
Digged into the earth like that
With their colored wooden plates
And embroidered glass portals
Of balconies and a million colors
I feel a home
Starting to rise in me
With silky flowers and the crown of trees
How strange
This new world will be
We heard the boats, the boats, the boats
And i hear the planes, the planes, the planes
And i will not hide from them
Not this life
