Clothed in a shine
Held by a song
That travels through
The marrow of my bone
As stars drip their smile
Waterfalls of light
Down my roof at night
And the specks of wonder
Get clogged in leaves and moss
And all creatures and tiny ones
living in the gutter
And what a beauty
There is in all of that life
Just because it lives
And existes and thrives
Patricles, sound, colour and light
And that there could ever be anything ever
Named humans, grapes, cakes and clouds
Jellifishes, lillies and cherry pie
And i'd like to shower in that glowing pulsating fascination of life
To keep my hope high
And my feet a little over ground
And I want to hymn to that song
The homely pulse of my core
The gratitude of all
To look up into forests of lamplight
And as candles flicker in the sky
To remember
One day
They'll blow out
